The first of the events as the club begin to draw the 2010/2011 season to a close our annual Mix and Match which brings all the Hockey age categories together for a fun event ending in players and team achievements of the season. 

The Winners of the Mix & Match was the yellow team and we would like to say a big thank you to Our Local McDonalds Store for donating the prizes to the winning team, the support of our event was very much appreciated.

Our main season awards are as follows:

Best First Season(Registered): Luke Huckstepp

Most Improved Under 9 years: Max Bassom

Most Improved Under 11 years: George Daly

Most Improved Under 13’s: Luca Commentucci

Most Improved Under 15’s: Katie McVey

Most Improved Over 16yrs: Joe Singleton

Player Of the Year: Richard Walker

Players Player of the Year: Jay Williamson

Youth Academy Tom Scorer: Jamie McVey with 7 goals

Senior Top Scorer: Brendan Barker with 74 goals

Well played to everyone and good luck to all our Teams and players playing in the Cup Finals on the 23rd July at the Pier Pavilion Herne Bay.

HBU teams playing are:

HBU Under 13’s play Invicta at 10:45am

HBU Under 11’s play Plymouth at 2:15pm

HBU Seniors play Middlesbrough at 4:45pm

Our teams in the Afternoon will be supported by the Saxon Stars Cheerleaders. Look forward to seeing you all their for the Last National Hockey matches to take place the Pier before it is demolished.
